Do your Assignment. Research all companies who will be participating the fair and make a target list to which industry you belong so you can start searching their company profile, and familiarizing yourself with their products / services and the nature of their businesses. You have to prioritize top ten employers that you are interested in. Practice a mock interview, which is an effective tool to overcome difficulties during interview.
Prepare your Resume. This is your ultimate bullet. If you are targeting two different positions, you must ready yourself two different versions of your comprehensive resume. Simplify your resume with 2-3pages maximum. Employers will not read a 10-page resume, though you had a lot of experiences. Include only job experiences that have very significance to the job position you are applying for.
Make an Impression. During the fair, build your confidence. Remember to treat the event as if you would be having an interview. Aggressive and assertiveness are the best techniques to make a lasting impression with the employers. Dress professionally according to the character that you like to portray in order to gain an eye with recruiters. Make an eye to eye contact and introduce yourself by offering a firm handshake. Wear your best smile.
Showcase your talent. Prioritize the top ten employers that you are interested in, and then approach the least companies in the list. Prepare a 20-30 second brief introduction of yourself. Establish good rapport with each recruiter and ask relevant questions that will broaden your understanding of the organization. This will give you an idea to which group best fits for you. Build a positive energy and answer all questions indicating the knowledge you learn about the company through your research. Respond to each question clearly and briefly.
Build your network. Don’t ever forget to collect business cards. Be friendly and make connection to people, not only employers but also jobseekers. Take advantage to chat with them because you might learn something that is essential for your job hunting.. The more information you gather, the better.

I've been telling you guys about how innovative our project is going to be, but I really haven't talked about the meat of it yet, have I? There's just so much to talk about and I guess all I really have to do is lay down the cards one by one.
So here's one of the most important ones;
The Revolution.
When this concept was introduced to me, my boss didn't just talk about making recruitment global. See, changing the world requires a lot. So what really makes this concept unique? It gives jobseekers the power to take charge of their careers.
One of the first things my boss asked me during the interview was, "Are you looking for a job?"
"Yes. That's why I'm here."
"No you're not," he said.

The start of something...
BIG!
About a month ago, I joined an organisation which specialises in strategic staffing solutions. The company was established 4 years ago, and they’ve been focusing on bringing foreign workers from Myanmar, Bangladesh, Manila and the PRC here in Singapore. The team has over 20 years of solid background in recruitment, especially in the F&B industry.
When I joined them, I became part of the business's expansion project (quite different since everyone else is cost-cutting nowadays, eh?), and this expansion project is really different as well as it presents the world a whole new concept of recruitment and job hunting.
We're still working on some finishing touches on the site, but soon we’ll be introducing you to a system that will make you go, “whoa!” and realise why you haven’t gotten the results you want with the “traditional” employment system.
I’ll be writing more about this revolutionary idea here, so come back anytime. I'll update as much as I can.
